Better, improved version of older models – iPod Touch 4th Generation

So, you are planning on getting an iPod Touch, but you are not sure is it that good. Well, with all those positive comments about it, they can’t, and they aren’t wrong.

Body: Sleep button is now on the right side, and there is nothing new. Why change something that has proved good? Well, I would like to see totally different design, if you get a new iPod generation, let the people know you got one just by looking at it!

Ram: Well, I would say that I have to disappoint you and say that it has only 256 MB of RAM memory.

Wireless/multitasking: Fully supports A/B/G/N and multitasking is ok, it has a smooth transition, and everything works great.

Display: Display gives a nice experience and it is crisp to look at it. You don’t see pixels, which gives you more realistic point of view.

Speaker: Speakers are quite good on this device, they give a better clarity and you can listen to music with no problems. Of course, it is much better do listen with earphones, but if you want/prefer to listen on speakers, you can do it.

Processor: Processor is great on this device, everything loads fast and smooth. You can play games with better gaming experience, and you can multitask better and easier.

Camera: This camera is designed for Facetime, so it is pointless to try taking pictures with it. You can’t get good quality pictures with it. Video on the other hand is totally different story. It has much better quality, especially in lit areas. Again, this is not a best feature on iPod. Taking still photos is not that great on Apple iPod. When you take a photo, it looks good on your iPod, but when you upload it to your computer; you see that picture is not that good. Well, I would like to point out that iPod is not made for photography, so you can’t expect to have all those new features and excellent camera all in that small device. Videos taken with front camera are better than pictures, but still it is not the greatest. But, it can do the trick.

Great choice for individuals and a lot of fun playing on Kinect, be prepared for Cyber Monday 2011.

The Xbox 360 is the second video game console made by Microsoft, and it competes with Play Station 3 and Nintendo Wii as part of seventh generation gaming consoles. Since this is second gaming console, we have our foundation which we can compare with.

New features on this console are:

First thing I would like to say is that new chip is designed to prevent RRoD (Red Ring of Death) issues (Glowing red lights flashing on the face of the console). Next thing is a better WiFi connection which can go up to 600 Mbits/sec. This can be done if you have WiFi N router. Another good thing about new features is that Microsoft includes all of us who have sound system separated from your TV; they added 3 digital optical audio ports. Xbox 360 has 5 USB ports which is quite valuable. This device is slimmer with side vents that prevent overheating.

Comparison with other consoles:

Since I am a gamer myself, and spend a lot of time playing games, I can tell you from my personal experience some of the features of Xbox 360. Firstly I will compare it with other consoles that are in competition with Xbox. Wii had some good innovations and when it was released I was thinking that it will be the best console ever. But, 4 years later, nothing changed, only few innovations. That way Wii starts to lose customers. Play station on the other hand has released Move, which captures motions in 3-D space, unlike Wii, which captures it 2-D space and interprets that data to 3-D movements seen in game. So, you think Move is better? Of course it is. It gives you much better gaming experience. But, if you ask the Microsoft, the game is not over. Xbox Kinect allows you to use voice commands and, of course motion gestures to navigate menu, browsers, interact and play games. So, in comparison with other consoles, Xbox seems better.
